Day 1

Well, today turned out to be A LOT Of waiting... Ken didn't start his treatment until after 9pm tonight but luckily this first dose is just an hour so he'll be done soon and able to go to bed. He just wishes he was home watching tv on his new flat screen instead of in a hospital room! So far, all is well!

" I played against Coach Waite's teams during my time in school and always admired him for his classiness and the obvious great teacher of the game that he had to have been. I watched him for years as a basketball official and admired him in his professionalism in that regard as well. He is one of those guys that you want to call a friend even though you are certainly not within his close circle because of how he treats you: with respect, courtesy, and kindness. Thank you AHS for honoring Ken and to Ken "Good on You". "
